Substitute teacher requirements in New Jersey
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher, unless holding the NJ 60 or 30 Credit Instructional Substitute Credential.
Pass a background check and negative TB test before the hiring date.
A NJ teaching credential or substitute teaching permit.
