About the TEACH Program
TEACH supports mission-driven individuals who want to enter the substitute teaching profession. The Teacher Engagement and Certification Help Program (TEACH) provides participants with monetary, personal, and professional support in becoming working substitute teachers.
As a TEACH participant, you will be eligible for reimbursement of all setup costs, opportunities to earn generous bonuses, and access to free resources.

Applying for the TEACH Program

Easy application
We’ve worked to make our application as straightforward as possible. Most people can complete it in less than 5 minutes.
Eligibility
You must have a passion to teach students in your local community, hold a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher), and be committed to becoming a certificated substitute teacher in your state.

If eligible, once you complete our online application you will receive an email outlining the first steps in the permit application process.
Program Details

Up to $1,000 in incentives
Cost should not be a barrier to reaching your teaching goals, so we’ll reimburse all set-up expenses and offer bonuses the more you work.

Dedicated support
You will have a dedicated Swing Advocate throughout the process to help you navigate the substitute permit application process.

Resources
You’ll have access Swing’s teacher resource library and a voucher to get 10+ hours of free substitute-specific training through STEDI.
