Requirements

- Pass a background check and negative TB test before the hiring date.
*Pay rates vary by district, ranging from $150 to $300 per day, depending on factors like length of service and specific district policies. SJUSD offers higher daily rates for long-term substitutes (25-30 days) at $225 per day, and $300 per day for those with statutory leave permits.
