Pay and Flexibility

• Daily rates from $150 to $275 depending on school, location, and your certification

What You Need to Get Started

• Bachelor’s degree
• California teaching credential or Emergency 30-Day Permit (or willingness to get one)
• OR 90+ college credits AND the CL-505d Emergency Permit for Prospective Teachers
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test
